Introduction

ITEM ToolKit version 7.08.05.04 has been enhanced as follows:

Fault Tree Module:

  • Implemented Beta Plus Factor model added to allow users to choose different failure models for events within the same CCF group. (New Feature)
  • The event Q/W adjustment factors were not saved properly when raising an event to a global event. This has been fixed.
  • The algorithm to handle “Modularized Super Event” option in Fault Tree has been refined in the latest release (Improvement)
  • User can now link global events with other modules (New Feature)

RBD Module:

  • In previous versions, a page footer was added to the exported Word document automatically. This has been changed to give users an option in the export dialog. (Improvement)
  • The logic has been redesigned to ensure that RBD node names are not lost after users copy/paste the RBD system.
  • The physical parameter labels for RDF resistors has been modified to make it more meaningful (Improvement)
  • Find Menu has been removed from RBD module since it is no longer needed (Improvement)

MIL-217 Module:

  • The adjustment factor field is now disabled for connection. (Improvement)
  • In previous versions, when an external component in MIL-217 was transferred to Bellcore, the failure rate was incorrectly set to 0. This has been fixed. (Bug Fix)
  • The analysis function was not triggered right away after loading a component from a library. This has been fixed in the latest version. (Bug Fix)

Bellcore/NSWC/MIL-217 Modules:
